Write Your Vision...14/60

Children's Mural - completed summer 2017(Part of the mural)
Yesterday, I had the most amazing conversation with my mother. We were catching up since the last time we spoke.
I shared some of the cool happenings this summer with her. We reminisced together about the past - how chicken was the go to meal for many many days and how I'd longed to leave my corporate job to pursue my art.
I recall walking into my bosses office for the last time. He offered me a tech admin job which might have led to a junior business analyst position. It was either that or be laid off. My position was being downsized.
It took just two minutes to share my vision for being an artist, of sharing my gift with others. It took just one minute for him to let me know they had no room for that type of job. We shook amicably and I gathered my belongings to leave.
I left that office with a severance package and the vision. I wrote my vision down.
Two bible scriptures come to mind here -
Proverbs 29: 18 - Where there is no vision, the people perish..."
Habakkuk 2:2 - ...Write the vision;make it plain on tablets that he may run that reads it...
Years later, I am seeing it come to pass. In less than a month, God-willing, I will be in Italy painting. I'm beyond excited. Beginning in August, I'm painting 60 paintings in 80 days to raise funds for this adventure. You can pre-order an Italian inspired painting AND support.
Eighteen beautiful people have supported my trip already. Fourteen paintings have been pre-ordered. See the link below if you'd like to to support me.
What is your vision? New opportunity, new marriage, new travel desires? Write it down. Its been awesome to see God move in this season of my life.
